About: lite pty ltd

Inspiration for new ideas comes from many places. For Joanna it was; Fashion. An obsession with monochrome. The beautiful effect of ring flash light photography. The popular new song #SELFIE by The Chainsmokers. The global and viral success of  #icebucketchallenge and #nomakeupselfie. Always being awkwardly ignored by event photographers. The increasing cost and diminishing return of social media for her clients brands and businesses. The ridiculousness that most photo booths had zero online integration.

Anyway, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard (Swiss 'new wave' film director) said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."  All ingredients, among many others, went into the creation of what lite is: Something familiar, something different, everything cool.

Joanna O'Connor, founder of lite, thought a photo booth should give event goers something different to the norm and event organisers a powerful way to cut through the social landscape. Recruiting the excellent work of Melbourne's tech elite the first prototype was built.

And then there was lite.
